United stadium sites revealed

Cambridge United's landlords are confident they can overcome planning issues over the two greenbelt sites earmarked for their community stadium.

Grosvenor Developments revealed Trumpington and NIAB 2 - land between Huntingdon Road and Histon Road - as the locations they are targeting at a public meeting at Cambridge United Supporters' Club last night.

They already partly own the former site, an extension of their ongoing Trumpington Meadows development.

The NIAB 2 site lies next to an area which already has planning permission for 1,600 houses by Barratt Homes.
