Wrenbridge Launch The Link, Ipswich

Wrenbridge, the Cambridge based property company, working in partnership with local media company Archant, has outlined detailed plans for a major redevelopment of the 1.7 acre site on Lower Brook Street in Ipswich, which is home to East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Evening Star.

The scheme which includes additional land to either side of Turret Lane brings the development site up to 2.75 acres with wide frontage to Star Lane and commands a strategic position between Ipswich Town Centre and the popular Waterfront.  The proposed mixed use development called The Link and will include offices, retail, restaurants and a hotel, with potential for up to 160,000 sq ft of accommodation including a new building for Archant's own operation and a 500 space multi-storey car park. 

Wrenbridge is already in discussions with potential occupiers for the first phase of development and inted to submit a planning application this Autum.
