Completion for state-of-the-art facility
A state-of-the-art hybrid facility in Oxford’s life sciences area has reached completion and is ready for occupancy.
Nova – which is a 43,745 sq ft building, tailored for the mid-tech, R&D and life sciences sector – was developed by Wrenbridge and Buccleuch Property and subsequently purchased by IM Properties.
The development is strategically positioned close to two of Oxford’s most influential science areas, Oxford Science Park and Arc Oxford.
Rob Hemus, asset director for IM Properties, said: “Nova is the first of its kind in the area, and its versatility is attracting enquiries from a range of sectors.
“It offers not only technical design specification, but also the credentials of such a statement building geared towards modern occupiers looking to attract and retain top-tier talent.”
Sandy Smith, development director of Buccleuch Property, added: “The delivery of Nova, targeting a market-leading standard of BREEAM Outstanding, has been a real team effort.
“Successful collaborations are at the heart of what we do, and it’s wonderful to see all the hard work of our JV partners at Wrenbridge, and of the professional team, come to fruition.”
James Feltham, director at Wrenbridge, said: “Nova delivers much needed space into the Oxford life science market and reflects the evolving requirements of occupiers.
“It reflects the continued commitment by Wrenbridge and their partners Buccleuch Properties and IM Properties to delivering best in class assets.”
Nova is now available for immediate occupancy, with leasing enquiries handled exclusively by Carter Jonas and Colliers International.
