During his time at Drivers Jonas, Richard Arnold was the project manager for the development of the new £16m state of the art athletics centre for the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.

The venue is primarily an elite training and development centre for UK Athletics as well as being the home of Enfield & Haringey Athletics Club and a facility used by the regional and local community. By combining all levels of skill and ability within the same environment it is hoped that it will encourage further participation in athletics as well as the production of future champions.

The building incorporates a 200m permanently banked indoor athletics track with first floor sprint track and associated ancillary accommodation together with an outdoor 400m track with small seating stand.
