Rowing Venue – Eton Dorney

Description
Richard Arnold was the Project Sponsor with the Olympic Delivery Authority for the delivery of the temporary infrastructure required to support the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Rowing Venue at Eton Dorney in Buckinghamshire.

The existing Eton Dorney Rowing Centre at Dorney Lake is set in a 400-acre park within a nature conservation area approximately 25 miles to the west of London and is recognised as one of the best rowing venues in the world.

For the Games, the ODA delivered additional permanent and temporary infrastructure works to support the use of the venue and the need to accommodate 30,000 spectators.
