Description
During his time at Drivers Jonas between 1999 and 2006, Richard Arnold provided project management and strategic advice on all of Charlton Athletic’s construction projects, which saw the redevelopment of The Valley to a 26,500 seat modern Premier League stadium.

This included the redevelopment of the North Stand involving the construction of an upper tier above the existing stand and corner stands linking in to the West and East Stands. The construction works were undertaken during the football season and involved maintaining the existing stand and the overall ground capacity throughout the project. The completed scheme included additional high-quality matchday hospitality facilities, which are then used for educational purposes during the week.

Richard also advised the Club on the further expansion of the stadium to provide an overall capacity of 40,000 seats.
