Wrenbridge and Bridges Fund Management has prelet three units totalling 95,000 sq ft at its new logistics development in Aylesford, React News can reveal.
At Click Aylesford – which is at junction six of the M20 – units five and six have been let to Headline Filters on a 25-year lease. Unit three has also been leased to FixFast on a 10-year lease.
Construction of the 300,000 sq ft logistics park began in July 2023, with practical completion expected next summer. The development is targeting EPC A+ and BREEAM Excellent ratings, as well as being net zero carbon in operation.
Jamie Garrett, director at Wrenbridge, said: “Working with our partners, Bridges, we are excited about delivering this scheme and these early lettings are a testament to the scheme’s quality and location, adjacent to the motorway junction. We look forward to completing the construction phase and further lettings.”
Henry Pepper, partner at Bridges Fund Management, added: “Across the Bridges platform, we’re developing some of the UK’s most sustainable industrial buildings. Aylesford is the latest example of this, and these initial lettings demonstrate the ever-growing strength of occupier demand for highly sustainable logistics warehouses in prime locations.”
BRE, Glenny and Altus are the letting agents for the Aylesford scheme.
